The story is based on the Chinese folk legend “Chang’e Flying to the Moon”, in which the Jade Rabbit character time-travels to the modern Earth. Through a series of events intertwined with China’s aerospace technology and astronauts, the story helps children understand the narratives surrounding China’s achievements in space exploration.
